About Me

Darlene specialises in strength training and functional movement, helping people move better, build strength, and feel more confident in their bodies. Her coaching approach is all about progress over perfection, focusing on sustainable habits, proper technique, and creating a training style that fits everyone’s lifestyle and goals.

Darlene believes that training should be empowering, not intimidating. Her goal is to help women push past their limits, not just physically but mentally, so they walk away feeling stronger, more capable, and more in control of their health.

Beyond training, Darlene guides clients through nutrition strategies to maximise performance and recovery, whether that’s increasing muscle mass, supporting weight loss, or simply fuelling the body for everyday energy.

At the core of her coaching philosophy is the belief that if you can’t enjoy the process, you won’t enjoy the outcome because the finish line always moves. The real secret isn’t in just getting there; it’s in learning to live in the present, embracing every step of the journey, and finding fulfillment in the progress, not just the destination. Darlene’s go-to saying is ‘do the mahi (work) and get the treats’
